Barona Resort and Casino Launches Blackjack Electronic i-Table Game

Combining the fun of the standard blackjack casino table game with state-of-the art technology, Barona Resort and Casino's blackjack dealers are giving out chipless card hands and offering new side wager options with it newly launched electronic i-Table game.

Created by gaming manufacturer Shuffle Master, live casino dealers and standard casino playing cards are used in this simple version of the classic casino banked card game. But there are no chips that the players should concern themselves about as all bets are made on individual touch screens and the results are checked electronically.

Mike Patterson, vice president of casino table games operations of Barona Resort and Casino, said on February 4th, 2010 that this all results in a less complicated and faster game, without any chips and with instant payoffs. Additionally, gamers can place side wagers with bigger odds on each card hand, including "Bet the Set 21" and "Royal Match 21".

According to Patterson, once a card hand has been given out, all players also have the option to place an "odds wager", essentially the chance they are going to win or lose the game. The fast paced action also means that players can make lower minimum wagers on blackjack games at the Barona Resort.

Just as with the other chipless casino games introduced at the gaming facility earlier this year, Patterson thinks that i-Table Blackjack is going to be a huge success with casino table game players. Tim Parrott, Shuffle Master's Chief Executive Officer, said that they are very happy that Barona has installed their i-Table product to its gaming floor.

Parrott said that its electronic wagering interface gives gamers access to a wider ranger of wagering opportunities while ensuring secure and fast game play. He added that the ability to have live gamer tracking will allow players to get the recognition that they truly deserve.
