Customers Dismayed at Seminole Tribe Table Gambling Limits

On June 26th, 2008, the Seminole Indian Tribe has received a lot of attention over the last few weeks because of the launched of their blackjack games. The tribe began offering blackjack and other card games at their casino facility in Florida. But a lot of players are not happy with the current betting minimum that the Seminole Tribe has set up.

One blackjack table possess a betting limit of $25 per hand and then it was changed to $100 per card hand. Normally, casino establishments give permission to players who were placed at the table before changing the limit to continue playing the smaller limit. This is not what happened at the Hollywood casino.

All of the players then decided to left the table and walked away from the game feeling that if this will continue, then the future of blackjack in South Florida is not good because only the Seminole Tribe has the opportunity to offer blackjack and other card games in the state. Bryon Bilston, a customer who attended the launch of the blackjack card games in the Seminole Casino in Hollywood commented that this is not the right way to treat customers who only want to enjoy a game of blackjack.

The Seminole officials were quick to remedy their mishap. On the opening day, while most of the card games table like blackjack were still offering $25 and up, the casino put up table that offer $10 and $15.

With the attention that the Seminole Tribe is receiving, the last thing that they want to do is to drive away customers. Permanent gambling limits have not yet been decided because casino officials decided to wait on the level of demand for the game before deciding on the limit.
