A blackjack tournament veteran bested all other professionals and neophytes of the game in the recently-held St. Kitts Classic Leg of the Ultimate Blackjack Tour (UBT).
2005 World Blackjack Champion, Ken Einiger, added more glitter to his already shimmering blackjack belt as he dominated the said UBT leg. Aside from bringing home $64,000 in prizes, Einiger earned his second gold UBT championship necklace and a $10,000 seat to the year-end Ultimate Blackjack Tour championship at California's Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino. The last leg is most-awaited since the guaranteed pocket money is $1 million for the ultimate winner.
Einiger, who has written a book on how to succeed in UBT's elimination round said that out of all the tournaments that he has played, this game was one of the most exciting.
In addition, Ken Einiger is a part of the 14-man team UBT, which includes popular professional card players, such as Phil Helmuth, Annie Duke, Freddie Deeb and Anthony Curtis, among others.
To date, the St Kitts Tournament was the second of many stops of the Ultimate Blackjack Tour's inaugural world tournament. Other stops will be at major casinos in Las Vegas, California, Paris, the Caribbean, as well as other international casinos.
The UBT also includes 2 special contests: the Ladies of Blackjack, featuring top female gamblers and the Legends of Blackjack, showcasing the veterans of the game.
