After only 9 months of gaming operations, Get21, an Isle of Man based online company, announced that they will be shutting down their multiplayer blackjack tournament operations on July 15, 2007, according to the email sent to its players this week.
The company's site does not have any formal announcement yet regarding the closure but it is understood that the blackjack tournament will be available on the online blackjack site of one of the gaming partners of Get21.
Get21 Ltd, which opened on October 26, 2007 is operated and managed as a partnership between the Golden Palace online casino and the Zone4Play subsidiary, RNG Gaming Ltd.
Get21 manages a software platform designed and manufactured over the span of 2 years by RNG Gaming Ltd. In an email to their players, the company announced that the blackjack tournament operations will stop on July 15, 2007 with promotional activities stopping on July 1, 2007.
Players were urged to withdraw all of their accounts or reduce their accounts to zero before the closing date. The company did not give any reason for the shutdown of the blackjack tournament.
