On May 21st, 2008, if you are still wondering if the Seminole Tribe will push through with their plans to offer blackjack then the appointment of Howard Dreitzer as the senior vice president of table games by Seminole Gaming Chief Executive Officer James F. Allen will erase all of your doubts.
In his new capacity as senior vice president for table games, Dreitzer will be primarily responsible for the brand new casino games like blackjack, baccarat, pai gow and others at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos in Hollywood and in Tampa, Florida as well as the remaining five casino facilities of the Seminole Tribe.
The card games like blackjack are a part of the agreement that was finalized on November 2007 between the tribe and Gov. Charlie Crist of Florida. Before he accepted the Seminole offer, Dreitzer was the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Conrad Jupiters Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Dreitzer worked directly for Caesars Entertainment, which operated the gambling facility and he managed the overall gaming operations.
He also previously worked as vice president and general manager and vice president of casino gaming operations of the Conrad International Treasury Casino and Hotel in Brisbane, Australia. He also has previously worked as the executive vice president of gambling at the Atlantic City Showboat Hotel and Casino and Senior Vice President of Casino Operations for the Trump Plaza facility in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
