On February 13th, 2009, the Seminole Casino Immokalee-the third casino facility of the Seminole Tribe in the state that offers blackjack games-has accomplished a twenty $2 million renovation. The facility, which is located in the western part of Florida, more than doubled its gaming space in order to give customers more gaming options.
The Seminole Tribe launched blackjack last June 2008 at the Hard Rock Casino Hollywood, last November 2008 at the Hard Rock Casino Tampa and last December 2008 at Immokalee casino, which is about ninety minutes west of the Broward County on Alligator Alley. The Indian Tribe, which is currently in the midst of renegotiating a gaming compact with Florida, has not yet announced plans to offer blackjack and baccarat at the Coconut Creek Casino and the original Hollywood casino facilities.
General Manager Tony Sanchez said that the casino facility will have a modern yet state-of-the art gaming space that is conducive for enjoying casino games like blackjack by the customers. The casino have improved its slot machines from 750 to 1,100 slot machines, blackjack casino tables from 12 to 22 tables and added other card games like Let It Ride and Three Card Poker.
